Leon C. Howard, age 66, of North Sioux City, South Dakota passed away on Friday January 18, 2013 at his residence.

Per his wishes, Mr. Howard has been cremated and no services will be held. Waterbury Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Howard was born in Sioux City, Iowa on April 3, 1946, the son of Carlton William and Lillian Marie (La Fluer) Howard.

Leon served his county as a member of the United States Navy from 1964-1967. Following his discharge, he worked as an Electrician for several different contractors in the Sioux City area until his retirement on 1999.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, listening to Golden Oldies Rock & Roll, and Farmville.

He is survived by his wife Michelle of North Sioux City, his son Carl and his fiancée Kerry Cannon of North Sioux City, his two daughters: Shelley Larsen and her fiancée Mike Huebner of Akron, Iowa and Jill Isaak and her fiancée Phil of Columbus, Nebraska. He is also survived by his four grandchildren: Katie and Emily Larsen, and Jacob & Cale Isaak, and his great-great grandson Gabriel Larsen.
Leon was preceded in death by his parents.
