Lee Anthony Meuhlberg, 84, of Sioux City, IA, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.  A Memorial Service is scheduled for May 10, 2024, at 11:00 am at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Olivia, MN, with Rev. Joe Steinbeisser as celebrant. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City and Dirks-Belm Funeral Service of Olivia.

Lee was born on February 11, 1940, at his home in Buffalo Lake, MN to Anthony and Rosella (Winkler) Meuhlberg. He attended school at St. Mary's in Bird Island, MN.  Lee was a self-made engineer due to his ability to figure out how things worked and create ways to make things work better. He was a hard worker and worked as a supervisor for Ken Bratney Company all over the United States and overseas up until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, boating and being on the lake.  He loved spending time with his kids, nieces and nephews and was usually the self-appointed adult in charge of keeping the kids entertained while the other adults were busy working or preparing meals. He will be remembered for his strong work ethic, honest character and his great sense of humor.

Those left to honor his memory include his significant other, Pamela Corzine; children: LeAnn Fischer, Michelle Bryce, and Linda (Marco) Curriel,  grandchildren; Dave (Heather) Fischer, Kelsey (Nicholas) Phillips, Devin Billings, Christina (Derek) Hebrink, Nathaniel (Angela) Curriel, Shane Meuhlberg and special friend Misty Starr, Raquel Curriel and special friend Mark Brauning, Sophia Curriel, Julie Bryce, John Bryce, Grayson Bryce, Cady Bryce; step- grandchildren Jimmy Olson and Matt Olson; great grandchildren: Ellie Fischer, Ethan Lund, Jenna Fischer, Cailynn Vait, Danny Fischer, Brody Phillips, Derek Hebrink Jr., A'Kyrie Curriel, Scarlett Hebrink, Tucker Meuhlberg, Trisain Hebrink, Adrianna Curriel, Andraya Curriel and a sister Rosella 'Tooty" Flemming.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-law: Darlene and Don Hoff; brother-in-law, Bill Flemming; a son, Mark Meuhlberg and stepdaughter Carrie Corzine.
