Larry Eugene Williams, 76, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2022, at his home in Sioux City IA, in the presence of his loving wife, Leslie. There will be a small graveside service for immediate family only.
Larry was born into this world on January 19, 1946, in Sioux City, Iowa to Harry and Florence (Feauto) Williams. Throughout his life, Larry worked as a milk man and went on to serve and protect as a police officer for over 13 years. In his later years, Larry was an entrepreneur who loved to “wheel and deal”. But if you asked him, his greatest accomplishments never stemmed from the work he did…it stemmed from the family he created with his 4 girls and 1 boy.
Later in life, Larry married Leslie Becker on July 2, 1999, in a small Catholic wedding blending two families into one. Larry also loved telling a good joke (some better than others), having a cup of coffee with friends, playing a game of cribbage with his wife & kids, or just being with family.
Survived by his wife of 23 years Leslie, his children: Cindy Harms (Jeff), Scott Williams (Jenny), Shelly Johnson (Larry), Sherry Klemish, and Lorie Stoneberger, Leslie’s daughter and grandson: Pandora Treglia and Legend, grandchildren: Audrey Harms, Emily Harms, Jacob Williams (Josie), Bryce Williams, Layten Johnson, Sadie Johnson, Ryan Klemish, Britton Klemish, Melissa Bishop, Eric Bishop (Ashley), Kayla Stoneberger (Doug), great-grandchildren: Wyatt Bishop, Blake Bishop, Hazel Rush, and Oliver Rush, mother-n-law: Shirley Becker and sister-n-laws; Lynn Snyder and Lana Becker.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents: Florence and Harry Williams, his father-in- law, Richard Becker, as well as both maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for future designation.
