Larry P. Kelly, 72 of Sioux City, passed away Friday, July 10, 2015 in his home with his family around him. Per his request, Larry will be cremated and no services will be held at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.
Larry was born on September 2, 1942 in Sioux City, the son of Floyd F. and Pauline V. Kelly. Larry attended Sioux City Public Schools. Larry worked as a painter for Blankenship Painting for over 45 years.
Larry enjoyed his family, fishing, hunting and golfing. He was also a huge fan of western movies and TV shows.
Larry was married to Janice Williamson from 1961 to 1980, of which this union gave Larry his three daughters, Annette Kelly-Agee of Sioux Falls, SD, Wendy Kelly Jessip (Daren) of Brandon, SD, and Stacy Kelly Niemeyer (Tim) of Dakota Dunes, SD.
Larry married Charlene Blair Jungwirth on October 25, 1985, which increased his family to include Tracy Jungwirth Prichard (Rick), Danny Jungwirth (Gillian), Lorrie Jungwirth Bohlmann (Mark Tucker), Mandy Jungwirth Sorensen (Chad), all of Sioux City and his grandchildren, Jessi and Nicole Verbeski, Sydney and Kendall Jessip, Hannah and Ben Niemeyer, Trevor and Erick Prichard, Raymond, Charlie, William Jungwirth, Elizabeth Bohlmann, Noah, Adden, Emersen Sorenson; and one great-granddaughter, Jade Grace (mother Jessi Verbeski). .
He was preceded in death by both parents, 3 brothers, Ron, Tom and Robert, and 2 sisters, Patricia and Debra.
