Kris Jean
Gray-Kamradt
Aug 1, 1971 — Jun 30, 2026
Kristi Jean Gray (Kamradt), 54, of Dakota Dunes, SD, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026, at her brother's home.
Born on August 1, 1971, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Ronald Kamradt and Terry Williams, Kris was known for her kind heart, creative spirit, and the immense love she had for her children and family. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Jefferson, South Dakota. She found joy in dancing, creating art, fishing, and sharing laughter with those she loved. Although she spent much of her life as a devoted stay-at-home mother, she also worked a variety of jobs over the years. More than any title, she took the greatest pride in being a mom.
Kris had a gift for making people feel loved. Whether she was creating a beautiful piece of artwork, teaching someone a new dance, organizing family gatherings, or simply offering a listening ear, she gave her whole heart. Her passion for art and dancing wasn't just something she enjoyed—it was a gift she passed on to her children, inspiring their own creativity and appreciation for self-expression. She found happiness in life's simple moments and taught those around her the importance of patience, kindness, and unconditional love. Her generous spirit and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She is lovingly remembered by Kevin Gray; her children, Brittney Ingalls, Kiah Kervin, Kelan Gray, and Kiara Gray; her grandchildren, Kayde and Kylie; her mother, Terry Williams; her brothers, Kirk Kamradt and Korey Kamradt; and many other family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Kamradt.
Kris will be deeply missed, but the love she shared, the memories she created, and the kindness she showed others will continue to live on through her family and all whose lives she touched. Her legacy is one of compassion, creativity, strength, and a love that knew no bounds.
