Kirk Anthony Pierce, 47 of Sergeant Bluff, died Friday, March 6, 2015 unexpectedly in North Sioux City.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday at Friendship Community Church in Sergeant Bluff. Visitation 4-8 pm Tuesday at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff, with the family present 6-8 pm.

Kirk was born on January 10, 1968 in Sioux City, the son of Bob and Patricia (Johnson) Pierce. Kirk worked at C&C Construction in Lawton before starting his own company in Sioux City, S&K Solutions, where he was a millwright. On February 14, 2005, Kirk was united in marriage to Sonya Fahlenkamp in Sioux City. This past November, they moved to Sergeant Bluff. Kirk just recently started working for Royal Canin in North Sioux City.

Kirk loved to spend time with his 3 children and was an avid Green Bay Packer’s fan.

Kirk is survived by his wife, Sonya; three children, Kody, Kole and Kane; his father, Bob Pierce and his wife Lori; his sisters, Kim and her husband Tom Nieman of Dakota City, Kristin Pierce of Sergeant Bluff and Kari and her husband Tony Berge also of Sergeant Bluff, Dani and her husband Kirk Ulven of Beresford, SD, Bobbi Paulson of Hurley, SD and Charity Pierce of Canistota, SD; and his brother, Brett Pierce of Sioux City; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patti Morris, one brother Bobby Pierce and one sister, Kelly Pierce.
