Kevin T. Amey, 54 of Sioux City, died Monday, October 27, 2025. Memorial Services will be held 11 am Friday, November 7, 2025 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Kevin Troy Amey was born on November 9, 1970 in Los Angeles, California the son of William Amey and Ruth Johnson. Kevin graduated from the Franklin High School, Franklin, Louisiana in 1989. He moved to Sioux City in 2000.

Kevin enjoyed listening to music and spending time talking with family and friends. He worked as a telemarketer at local call centers.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Kimberlee Fontenot, son, Myron Amey, daughter, Precious Talbot, two grandchildren Violet and Jamyri, mother, Ruth and her husband Linoel Wright, two brothers, Sean Amey and Chris Amey, and one sister, Ebony Wright.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Amey.
