Kenneth L. Williams, 82 of Sioux City, died Thursday, April 13, 2017 at a local care center.
Graveside service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Military Rites will be provided by the United States Army. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave.
Kenneth Leroy Williams was born July 14, 1934 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of Julia Pondixter. He joined the Navy and served in the Korean War, he was released and then worked in carpentry for while. Kenneth then join the Army and served in Vietnam War where he received four purple hearts. After the service he worked for Overhead Door, Tyson, and later as a security Guard at Port Neal retiring in 1993.
He enjoyed puzzles and woodworking. He was very talented and made lots of children toys.
Kenneth is survived by his significant other Linda Delejsi of South Sioux City, Nebraska, ex-wife Marianna Williams and one sister Janice Suggitt of Sioux City.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Robert Williams, and one sister Joan.
