Kenneth L. Johns, 75 of Sioux City, died Sunday, November 7, 2021

Memorial Services will be held 11 am Friday, November 12 ^th at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Visitation one hour prior to service time. Military Honors will be conducted by the US Army.

Kenneth LeRoy Johns was born on March 7, 1946 in Sioux City, the son of Albert and Alice (Solomon) Johns. He graduated from the Hinton High School in 1965. Kenneth served in the Army and was a tank driver stationed in Germany.

On December 28, 1966 he was united in marriage to Mary Carlson. Kenneth was a salesman who was in sales for Sioux City Iron for 40 years, and then 7 years at Sioux City Scheels, retiring in 2016.

Kenneth main interest over the years was the activities and sports participation of his grandchildren. He also enjoyed growing flowers.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Mary, son Chad (Jill) Johns, daughter Jill (Jared) Weerheim, grandchildren Anissa, Austin, Lance, Max and Jase, his brother Marvin Johns, sister JoAnn Carlson and his special aunt and uncle, Dave and Phyllis Hanson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Jimmy Johns and one sister, Kathy Johns.
