Kenneth Allen Frazier,Sr., 67 of Sioux City, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at a local hospital.
Funeral service will be held 10:00am Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Four Directions Community Center, with Chris Denny officiating. Burial will follow service at Hobo Creek Cemetery in Santee, Nebraska. Wake will be held from 7:00pm Thursday, March 17 till service time on Saturday. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff, 400 4th Street and Santee Nation Wake and Burial Services.
Kenneth was born April 25, 1948 in Santee, Nebraska the son of Melvin and Rachel Frazier. Ken attended school at Hopkins and then graduated from Central High School in Sioux City. He worked for Strange Brothers Hide Company, Big Boy Irving Hide Company, IBP, and John Morrel.
Ken enjoyed playing pool, hunting, listening to music and collecting old fast cars. He loved his dog’s, baby boy was the enjoyment of his live. Kenneth was a member of the St. Paul’s Indian Mission.
He is survived by his son Kenneth Frazier Jr. of New York, two daughters; Kelly Frazier Black of Tennessee, Jennifer Pearson of San Francisco, one brother Robert M. Frazier of Sioux City, three sisters; Juanita John, Myra Lynn Frazier Cota, Brenda Frazier all of Sioux City, one special Uncle Bob Chase of Organ, several nieces and nephews, and six grandchildren, one special granddaughter Madison.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Kimberly Frazier, two brothers; Milton and Ronald Gean Frazier and one sister Gladys Fields.
