Kenneth Albert “Kenny” Sagert, of Dakota City, NE passed away peacefully Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Holy Spirit Retirement Home. Per Kenny's request, there will be no funeral services. Burial will be at Neche, ND.

Kenny was born April 27, 1939 at Pembina, ND to Albert and Martha (Stegman) Sagert. Kenny grew up and helped work the family farm in Neche, ND until he finished school and enlisted in the US Army. He was stationed in Germany where he was able to spend time with relatives. After an honorable discharge, he worked as a welder traveling throughout the country.  In the mid 90's he settled in Dakota City, NE with his brother.

In his free time he enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Kenny is survived by his sister-in-law, Virginia Sagert and several nieces and nephews.

Kenny is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Rienhold (Joyce) and Harold; sisters: Amy (Edward) Latozke, Annie (Louis) Weiss, and Dorothy (Alvin) Menke.
