Services for Kelvin Cooper have been postponed to: Visitation Tuesday, 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. and Funeral service Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

Kelvin G. Cooper, Sr., 47 of Le Mars, Iowa died unexpectedly Saturday, December 30, 2023.

Visitation will be held Monday Jan. 08, 2024 from 5-7 pm with a prayer service starting at 7pm at the Waterbury Funeral Home in Sioux City, IA.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday Jan. 09, 2024 at 10am at the Waterbury Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be a light luncheon at the Funeral Home following the Burial.

Kelvin Gene Cooper was born on October 11, 1976 in Sioux City, IA the son of Eugene and Rita (O'Connor) Cooper. Kelvin met Kristina Danielson in 2015 and on July 27, 2019 they were united in marriage.

Kelvin had worked at the Asplundh Tree Experts as a Tree Arborist for 13 years. On weekends he worked his own Kelvin's Tree Service. He had been in the tree business over 20 years.

Kelvin loved spending time with his family, especially his first new grandchild Jahmari Harrison. Whom he deeply loved and adored. He also enjoyed watching football and was an avid Hawkeyes and Vikings fan. He loved fishing/ ice fishing and deer hunting. Kelvin enjoyed cooking and grilling. When he grilled, it was "No Body Touch My Grill!"

Kelvin is survived by his wife Kristina, sons Kelvin Gene Cooper, Jr. and Taylor Rensink (Casey Marcotte), daughters, Hannah Cooper, Mercedes Guerrero (Justin Harrison) and Adriana Guerrero, grandchild Jahmari Harrison; his brothers Dana Cooper and Rodney (Andrea Jones) Cooper and his sister, Jean (Craig Sandvick) Cooper. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparent's aunts, uncles, and one niece.
