Keith was born to Edward and Mary Ann (Simeon) Frank on Friday, December 12, 1958 in Sioux City, Iowa. He grew up with seven siblings on a family farm. He graduated Sergeant Bluff-Luton High School in 1977. He was married to Lori Smith in 1984 and to this union Alexa and Lily were born. They later divorced but remained friends as they raised their daughters. Keith graduated from Western Iowa Tech Community College with a degree in Electronic Engineering. In 1987, he graduated with a dual degree in Marketing and Finance from Florida Southern University.
Keith was an entrepreneur with an ambitious spirit. He was successful in many ways; an electronic engineering salesman, a restaurateur, and most recently took pride in how much he further developed the family business, Frank’s Asphalt.
Keith dedicated his life to his daughters. He loved taking them out to restaurants, going on family vacations, cooking meals together, Father’s Day golf outings, storm chasing, and watching Kanas City Chiefs football games. He always looked forward to his weekly Monday night “guys night” and being with his friends on Thursdays for happy hour and dinner at El Tapatio. He loved to travel and recently purchased a condo in Florida where he was looking forward to making more memories with his girls. Keith was brought much joy and happiness six months ago when he took on the role of Grandpa to his grandson, Lux. Keith was a friend to many and a stranger to no one. He was selfless, generous, kind, compassionate, smart, driven, and freakin hilarious. His laugh was infectious and will be missed always.
