Keith B. Bailey, 66 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his family. Services will be held 12:00pm Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10:00am Saturday, July 23 at the church.

Keithan (Keith/ Key-Key) Bailey was born August 24, 1955 in St. Louis, MO. the son of Fred and Ruth Bailey. He grew up in Eagle Park Acres, a subdivision in Madison, IL and attended Madison School District graduating in 1966. After graduating high school, he set out to make a life for himself and became his own man by moving to Sioux City, IA where he found employment at Olds Home Metz Baking Company in the production department. Soon after arriving in Sioux City, he met the love of his life, Pamela Thomas; she passed in 2020. They were married on November 8, 1976, and to this union three girls and three boys were born. Although they struggled to develop as young adult parents, through the grace of God they persevered until God changed their lives for good. They both accepted the Lord into their lives and were baptized. Keith was a former member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, and current member of Mt. Zion.

Keith had several health issues which caused him to eventually be wheelchair bound. However, his spirit, love and communication with his family was always free! His children continued to care for him at home until his passing. He loved ALL of his children and grandchildren. Having just been blessed with new granddaughters, Journee Bailey, and Zurie Bailey and grandson, Zy'Aure Perry recently.

Keith was an avid sports player of basketball and baseball. He enjoyed washing his Cadillac, listening to music, barbecuing, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He also loved watching boxing on fight night.

He leaves to cherish his memory is his children; Keith (Amanda) Bailey, Jr. of Orlando, FL, Tiffany Bailey of Omaha, NE, Dustin (Taylor) Bailey, Brittni (Roscoe) Perry, Destini Bailey, Thomas (Mikey) Bailey, all of Sioux City, IA, three brothers, Fred Branch of Longbeach, CA, Percy (Julie) Walton of Sioux City, IA, Tyrone (Stephanie) Branch of Chicago, IL, three sisters, Deborah (Edward) Williamson of White Plains, NY, Gladys (Michael) Watson of Goodyear, AZ, Elizabeth Bailey of St. Louis, MO and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Keith is preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Bailey, parents, Fred and Ruth Bailey, sister, Jennie Mae Bailey, two brothers, Kelvin Branch and Otis Wayne Walton.
