Kathy L. Vellinga, 64 of Sioux City, died Friday, April 12, 2024 at a care facility in Correctionville.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation 9 am until service time on Wednesday.

Kathy Lynn Vellinga was born on November 10, 1959 in Sioux City, the daughter of John and Julia (Hanson) Vellinga. She graduated from North High School in 1977.  During 1994 she was married to James Kajewski.

Kathy is survived by her son Cory Vellinga, daughter Rebecca Agnant, grandson Pierre Agnant, brothers Terry Alioth, Joe Alioth, John Alan Vellinga and Dennis Vellinga, and her sisters, Deanna D'Agosto, Darlene Holmes, Karen Borrink, Lucy Cooper,

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant siblings Sandra Vellinga and Edward Alioth
