Kathleen Rae Johnson, 65, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at her residence. A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Kathy's home. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Kathy was born on November 26, 1952 in Sioux City to Leonard Andersen and Betty Singer. She attended East High school and married Terry "T.J." Johnson on January 8, 1971. Kathy and T.J. were married for 21 years and continued a good relationship following their divorce.

Kathy enjoyed fishing, and working in her flower garden. Family was very important to Kathy, especially spending time with her grandchildren and her cats, Thumper, Bella, and Tink.

Survivors include her daughters, Jennifer Johnson of Lawton and Kari Chamberlain of South Sioux City; brother, Jerry (Carlee) Andersen; sister, Marilyn (Don) Susie; four grandchildren, Casey and Mason Harker, Kilana Houghton, and Tori Reynolds; one great granddaughter on the way, Valey Kathleen; and T.J. Johnson.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents.
