Katherine Elaine Stansbury, 101 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away February 2, 2022 at a local hospital. Elaine will be buried in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sergeant Bluff.

Elaine enjoyed gardening and was an avid golfer until her later years. She also developed a passion and skill for painting and other forms of art.  She was an active member of her church, Glendale Baptist. She moved into Westwood Rehab and Nursing care in 2010 and enjoyed the love and care she received there.

She is survived by her sons, Gary (Ann) and Milo, six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews, and niece Judy Kalvelage (Glen) who she was especially close with.

She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years Leo and her son Wayne.
