Karen K. Stovall, 64 of Wichita, Kansas formally of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Monday, December 19, 2022, at her home in Kansas, surrounded by her family. Wake services will start at 4:00pm Thursday, December 22, 2022, at the St. Paul's Indian Mission and go till the service time. Services will be held 10:00am Saturday, December 24, 2022, at the St. Paul's Indian Mission. Burial will be in Hobu Cemetery.
Karen Kay Stovall was born on November 11, 1958, in Winnebago, Nebraska, the daughter of Frank and Florence (West) Campbell.
On March 17, 1978, Karen was united in marriage to Brian Stovall, and have been married for 45 years. In the early 1980's, they moved to Arkansas for a few months, then to Oklahoma. In 2008 they moved to Wichita, Kansas.
Karen loved softball and also playing tennis, basketball, soccer and track. She enjoyed her family and friends, but she loved animals more than people.
Karen is survived by her husband Brian Stovall, her son Skyler Stovall and his wife Megan Stovall, two daughters, Michelle Chavez and Ashley Stovall, four grandchildren, Brayden Chavez, Laila Chavez, Tristan Chavez and Lisandra Chavez, two great grandsons, Ismael and Ezekiel. She is also survived by two sisters, Rose Rockwood and Shirley Campbell.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, 6 sisters, Doris Nieman, Mary Campbell, Linda Gomez, Betty Campbell, Debra Ann Campbell and Lilly Ann Campbell, 4 brothers, Frank Campbell, Richard Campbell, Ronald Campbell, Frank David Campbell, Jr.
