Kaleidah Rae Jackson, 52, of Sioux City, Iowa passed away June 23, 2026 at a local hospital. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2026 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Avenue.

Kaleidah Rae Jackson was born on March 21st, 1972, in St. Louis, to Charles Willie Jackson and Earline Rogers Jackson. She was affectionately known as Keke, the youngest of seven children. She attended Bridget Catholic Elementary for kindergarten through eighth grade, and then went on to Soldan High in St. Louis, Missouri. She moved to Sioux City in the summer of 2002.

Where she worked in the service industry, as she loved to help others. She loved her music and dancing, and enjoyed cookouts and get-togethers. At those cookouts and get-togethers, Kaleidah could be found playing spades and black duece. As those were her favorite card games. Her favorite gospel song was Deliver Me, and Every Now and Then. Her favorite rapper was Too Short and Ice Cube. Her favorite R&B was Lyfe Jennings and Patti LaBelle.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Willie Jackson, and her mother, Earline Rogers Jackson. She leaves behind her daughter, Katrina Lashay Barnes, and her son, Ronald Keith Carter, and 7 grand children all residents of Sioux City. Kaleidah will be missed by her three sisters, Karin, Kendra, and Kim along with three brothers, Charles, Phillip, and Keith, who will miss her dearly. And she leaves behind a host of cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends. Kaleidah will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
