Julie Ann Morley, 47 of Sioux City, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at a local hospital.
Memorial services will be held Monday March 19, 2012 at 11:00 am from the Salvation Army, 1415 Villa Avenue in Sioux City. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4-7pm at the Salvation Army. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service.
Julie was born on October 21, 1964 in Sioux City, the daughter of Edward and Marilyn (Peterson) Brown. She graduated in 1983 from North High School. On May 4, 1984 Julie was united in marriage to Patrick Morley at the Salvation Army in Sioux City. Julie worked as an area manager at the McDonalds on Sunnybrook.
Julie’s greatest joys were being with her family. She enjoyed camping and the outdoors. The last few years she helped set up the Christmas donations at the Salvation Army.
Julie was a member of the Salvation Army, and friends of Jimmy K and Bill W.
Julie is survived by her husband, Patrick; her son Patrick Morley, Jr.; her three daughters, Nicole Leanne and her husband Ernesto Ortega, Ashley Jean Garcia-Lopez and her fiancée Juan Gonzalez-Hernandez and Emily Ann Morley, all of Sioux City; her brothers Fran and his wife Carol of Sioux City and David and his wife Roxane Brown of Las Vegas, Nevada; her sister, Jean Hodgins of Pierson, Iowa; her grandchildren, Alan Garcia-Lopez, Jr., Izaiah Edward Garcia-Lopez and Juan Gonzalez Hernandez Jr; one grandaughter Iana Ortega; her brother in-laws, Chad Ouellette and his wife Ann, Mark Ouellette and his wife Micki and Randy Ouellette and his wife Holly; her sister in-law, LeAnne and her husband Roger Vaske; and all her nieces and nephews that were so special to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Matthew Brown and one son in-law, Alan Garcia.
