Julianne Chedester, 77 of Sioux City, died Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at a local hospital. A private Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery.
Julianne was born on September 19, 1943 in Spirit Lake, Iowa, the daughter of Cyril and Julia Gunderson. She grew up on a farm near Kiron, Iowa and graduated from Odebolt-Arthur High School in 1961.

Julianne attended Morningside College in Sioux City and worked for the Toy National Bank. On June 27, 1965, Julianne was united in marriage to Robert Chedester and made their home in Sioux City. For the past several years, she had been a resident of Countryside Nursing Home.
Julianne enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She also loved flowers, animals and bingo.

Julianne is survived by her son, Patrick (Stacy) Chedester, daughter, Christy (Andrew) Davenport, grandchildren, Maxwell, Madison, Olivia and Maria Chedester and Lexi Davenport, her brother, Don Gunderson and his friend, Lucille Whitehead of Cedar Falls, Iowa and her sister, Suzanne (Ken) Roeder of Desmet, South Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, two brothers, Marlin Gunderson , and James Gunderson and one sister, Cindy Gunderson.
