Judy Virginia Weaver, 79, of Moville, Iowa passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 at her home in Moville. A Celebration of Life will be from 4:00 to 6:00 Friday, November 10, 2023 at the Community Center in Moville, Iowa. Waterbury Funeral Services of Sioux City is assisting the family with arrangements.

Judy was born July 8, 1944 at Onawa, Iowa the daughter of Arnold and Eunice (Lane) Zediker. She grew up in Galva, Iowa, attending school at Castana, Schaller, Galva and graduating from Moville High School in 1962. Judy married Dennis Weaver November 3, 1962. Together they made their home in Moville on the family farm. Dennis passed away on May 22, 2016.

Judy worked in the restaurant business most of her life. She owned and operated Judy’s Feedbunk for over 21 years until 1998.  She was famous for her Feedbunk Burger and Cheese Fries.  Judy and her daughter Misty bought the restaurant on Main Street in 2000 and Judy continued to work for another eight years and retired in 2008.

Judy enjoyed gambling, bowling, traveling and tending to her flowers on the farm. She enjoyed sitting outside and watching the people and scenery. She also enjoyed feeding her large family every Christmas Day.

Survivors include her four children, Michael (Joni) Weaver of Moville, Michelle (Brian) Johnson of Grain Valley, Missouri, Misty (Scott) Dean of Moville and Toni Weaver of Sioux City; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; mother, Eunice Zediker of Sioux City; two brothers, Avery (Kay) Zediker of Sioux City and Arnold (Phyllis) Zediker of Des Moines; sister-in-law, Nancy Zediker of Sioux City; three brothers-in-law, Tim(Nancy) Weaver, Pat (Terri) Weaver and Kelly (Susanne) Weaver; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father; husband; and a brother, Steve Zediker.
