Judy E. Fredinburg, 82 of Sergeant Bluff, died Wednesday, September 13, 2023.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 am and funeral Services will be held at 11:30 am at the Shepherd of Peace Lutheran Church in Sergeant Bluff, with Rev. Benjamin Perkins officiating. Burial will be in West Fork Township Cemetery in Climbing Hill.

Judy was born on May 24, 1941 in Sioux City, the daughter of Verlin and Ruby (Card) Parker. She graduated in 1959 from the Bronson High School, and on June 19, 1959 was united in marriage to Dale Fredinburg.

Judy graduated from Western Iowa Tech Community College as an LPN, and later earned her RN and Westmar College with a degree in health and human services. Judy worked at many area care facilities for a 36-year career and retired from the Boys and Girls Home in 2006.

Judy and Dale enjoyed traveling to Colorado and other locations. She enjoyed going to her grandchildren's sports and school activities. She was an avid book reader and also, she took in many pets over the years. "Cookie" was her last puppy.

Judy is survived by her daughters, Daletta (David) Bruggeman, Deanna (Joseph) Cloud and Danita Eaton; her grandchildren, Kendra Jorgensen, Kody (Hailey) Bruggeman, Brianna Eaton, Brody Eaton, Colton Cloud, Katlynn (Zach) Siepker and Alexis Cloud; and three great-grandchildren, Henry Bruggeman, Ameliah Siepker and Hunter Siepker; and her sisters, Verla "Pete" Pearson and Debra Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Dale.
