Judith A. Brandt, 68, of Sioux City, went home to be with the Lord after a battle with cancer on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at her residence. Services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave. A visitation will be held from 4-7 pm, Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.

Judy was born on June 21st, 1947 to Ed & Catherine Johme. She was raised in Riverside and lived all her life in the Sioux City area. In early 1969 Judy met Robert Brandt and were married later that year. She was blessed with 6 wonderful children and 12 amazing grandchildren.

Judy graduated from Central High School in 1965, attended business college and was then employed by the Chamber of Commerce for over 5 years. She then had her own daycare for 20 plus years and had taken care of over 100 children.
She loved spending time with family. She was a servant and had a heart for others. She was caring and compassionate and served in her church ( Landmark Baptist church) where she was a member for several years. She touched everyone she met.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Brandt, children, Bobbie Divis (Dale), Robin Glaze (Chris), Matt Brandt (Shelly), Rebecca Brandt, Liz Haider, Mike Brandt, 12 grandchildren, and two brothers Ron Johme and Doug Johme.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Johme and Father, Ed Johme, and sister, Karen Wilmot.
