Judith “Judy” Marie Bolton, 83, of Sioux City, IA passed away May 11, 2024 surrounded by her family.  A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 16th at 10:30 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church.  Burial will be at Graceland Park Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Judy was born on November 26, 1940 in Sioux City, IA to Charles and Mabel (Deuel) Wickstrom.  She graduated from East High School and was united in marriage to Larry Bolton on April 1, 1961.  Together they had 3 boys.  Judy took care of them and when they left the house, she began working at JCPenny.  She was very involved in her children’s activities; coaching t-ball, baseball, and was a den mother.  Her faith was important to her and she was a deacon at Westminster Presbyterian and sang in the choir.  She enjoyed collecting antiques and football, and especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory include her sons: Douglas Bolton, of Sioux City, IA, Robert (Ann) Bolton, of Guthrie Center, IA and Thomas (Miki) Bolton, of Greenwood, IN; serving as honorary pallbearers are her 11 grandchildren: Cheryl, Travis, Adam, Dania, Joe, Marcus, Curt, Tiffany, Haley, Matthew, and Jaxon; 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Anderson, of Sioux City, IA; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Larry; 2 brothers; and a sister.
