Judith "Judy" Ann Fulton-Carpenter

Judith “Judy” Ann Fulton-Carpenter, 81, of Sioux City, IA, passed away surrounded by her family on June 8, 2026. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 12 at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation 1 hour prior at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Burial will be at Logan Park Cemetery.

Judy was born on February 17, 1945 in Sioux Rapids, Iowa to Donald and Harriett (Hotchkiss) Mortenson. She graduated from Sioux Rapids High School and then received her nursing degree from WIT. She did her internship at St. Vincent Hospital and then went to work as an RN at Gordon Chemical Dependency-now Jackson Recovery, St. Lukes in Ohio and then the Boys and Girls Home.

Judy had five children. She was an excellent cook and baker and enjoyed shopping for food to make things from scratch. She enjoyed crocheting, camping, fishing and her ice cream. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Those left to honor her memory include her children; David Fulton, Kraig Fulton, Krystian Carpenter, Laria Carpenter, and Larissa Luke. 

She is proceeded in death by her parents.
