Judith Ann Francis, 82, of Sioux City, IA, passed away October 11, 2024, at a local hospital.  A time of sharing will be held Wednesday, October 16 at 6:00 p.m., with a visitation from 5-6:00 p.m. at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Judith was born on July 3, 1942, in Sioux City, IA to Ronald and Mary (Biernbaum) Roepke.  She was united in marriage to Michael Paul Francis on December 28, 1963, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sioux City.  Judy was a homemaker and took wonderful care of her family.  She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading, traveling, horseback riding, and especially loved the mountains.

Those left to honor her memory include her children:  M. Shawn (Cheri) Francis and Laurie Francis, all of Sioux City; grandchildren, Tony, Scott, William, and Christine; great grandson, James; step grandchildren, Nate and Makency; brothers: Daniel, David and William Roepke; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Mike.
