Juanita was born on January 21, 1938 in Sioux City, the daughter of Raymond  and Myrtle (Ofstad) Weidert. Juanita worked for Zenith Plant for a number of years then later in child care babysitting. During the 1990’s Juanita started working for Iowa Department of Human Services. She was a caregiver most of her life and during her senior years was a Senior Companion. She became a avid user of the tablet to keep in touch with her friends.

While at home, she enjoyed watching westerns, listening to western music and writing letters to her family. She loved the time spent with her cousins and nieces and nephews. Juanita looked forward to family gatherings, especially during the holidays.

Juanita is survived by her son Anthony (Julie) Dattolico of Fontanelle, Nebraska, daughter Tina (James) Webster of Sioux City, grandchildren Randy (Teri) Randy Webster, Amy Webster, Kenny (Missy) Webster, great-grandchildren Lillian, Carson, Shelby, Serenity, heavenly, Noah Christian, Natalie, Nicholas, Hannah, Wyatt, Braddock and Kendall, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl Watkins, daughter Tamara Dattolico, grandchildren Amber Dattolico and Cory Dattolico, brother Raymond “Sonny” Weidert and her sister Adele Veach Hodgson

Services will be held 11 am Tuesday, July 27 ^th at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, with visitation one hour prior to service time.
