Juanita Lynn Ainsworth, 67, of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at her home. A Memorial Service will be held from 5-7pm Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave with a Prayer Service at 7pm.

Juanita Lynn Ainsworth was born Tuesday, February 17, 1953 to Roland and Margery (Smith) Cassens in Sioux City, Iowa. She grew up in Woodbury and Plymouth Counties and lived in Sioux City all of her adult life. She was raised on a farm and loved being surrounded by animals, especially horses. Juanita married the love of her life Jeff Ainsworth. She loved being able to serve others during her time living at Martin Towers.

Juanita enjoyed sewing, bingo and spending time with her family. Her house was always full of kids as she raised her own. Juanita was known to enjoy “throwing a few back” with her friends. She was always up for good laughs, good company and good beer!

Juanita will be missed by her children; Earlwin (Memori) Frazier, Laura (Joe) Connors, Keith (Tiffany) Buchanan, and Anthony Buchanan; her granddaughter, Ebanie Buchanan-Gray; two sisters, Vicky (Ray) Mincer of Arkansas and Chris (Milt) Rouillard of Sioux City; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Cassens, and many friends.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Ainsworth, parents, brother, Jim Cassens, and two sisters, Kay Erickson and Ruth Cassens.
