Juan Manuel Villarreal Pérez, de 45 años, residente de Sioux City, Iowa, falleció el 11 de marzo de 2025 en un hospital local. El funeral y el entierro se llevarán a cabo en México. Los arreglos funerarios están a cargo de Waterbury Funeral Service de Sioux City.

Juan nació el 7 de abril de 1979 en México, hijo de Lorenzo Villarreal Martínez y Ninfa Pérez Rangel. Juan se crio en México, donde sentía una gran pasión por los caballos. Fue un talentoso jinete y ganó numerosos premios, compitiendo en varias ciudades alrededor de Aldama y Tampico, Tamaulipas. Juan era muy trabajador y trabajó en varias granjas. Llegó a Estados Unidos en el 2022 y era aficionado al béisbol de los LA Dodgers. Era un padre amoroso y todo lo que hacía era por su hija. También era muy cercano a su hermano Jorge y siempre estaban juntos. Juan siempre fue muy tranquilo y un protector por naturaleza. Muchos lo extrañarán.

Entre quienes le quedan para honrar su memoria se encuentran su hija, Belinda Villarreal Juárez, su madre; tres hermanos; y tres hermanas. Le precedió en la muerte su padre.

Se pueden hacer donativos a la funeraria para ayudar con los gastos funerarios y traer a Juan de regreso a México.

Juan Manuel Villarreal Perez, 45, of Sioux City, IA, passed away March 11, 2025 at a local hospital.  A funeral and burial will take place in Mexico. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Juan was born on April 7, 1979 in Mexico to Lorenzo Villarreal Martinez and Ninfa Perez Rangel.  He grew up in Mexico where he was passionate about horses.  He was a talented jockey and won numerous awards, competing in several cities around Aldama and Tampico, Tamaulipas.  Juan was a very hard worker and worked on several farms.  He came to the United States in 2022 and was a LA Dodgers baseball fan.  He was a loving father and all he did was for his daughter.  He was also very close to his brother Jorge and they were always together.  Juan was always very calm and protective by nature.  He will be missed by many.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Belinda Villarreal Juarez, his mother; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses to bring Juan back to Mexico.
