Juan Flores-Cruz, 52, of Sioux City, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2020. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 am on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, February 28, 2020 at the funeral home.

Juan was born in San Ignacio, Guadalcazar, San Luis Potosi, Mexico on June 23, 1967 to Severo Flores and Maria Candelaria Cruz. He moved to the United States in 1986 and married Claudia Boteo on April 2, 2001 in Sioux City.  In 2019, Juan became a US citizen.

Juan worked for Irwin Painting for 18 years. He enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and doing home improvements. He also liked to travel to Mexico to see his family.

Survivors include his wife, Claudia Flores; daughter, Zipporah Flores; son, Jeffrey Flores; stepson, Joshua Boteo; Parents-In-law, Esteban and Marta Boteo; sister-in-law, Rona Boteo; siblings, Francisco, Gregorio, Senon, Alejo, Jacinto, and Roberto Flores; Maria Candelaria Peña, Maria Hipolita Zuñiga, Severra, Andrea, Sandra, and Francisco Rocha.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
