Joyce M. Zawacki, 78 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at a local hospital, surrounded by her family. Per Joyce’s wishes she will be cremated and no services will be held at this time. Waterbury Funeral Service is assisting family with arrangements.

Joyce was born September 20, 1946 in Peoria, Il. the daughter of William and Helen (Griffin) Burwell. She graduated High School and continued her education at a College receiving her Associates Degree.

Joyce was a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her dog Lucy and playing bingo was her favorite. Joyce had an unconditional love for everyone, especially her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children; Jessica Zawacki, Katy (Corey) White, Lynn (Seth) Scott, grandchildren, Amethyst Zawacki, Jason Scott, Victoria White, Charlotte White, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Joyce is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Griffin.
