Joyce Marie Fox, age 73, of Sioux City passed away on Friday October 18, 2013 at a local hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday October 26, 2013 at Riverside United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Waterbury Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences for the family may be made at www.waterburyfuneralserviceinc.com.

Joyce was born on February 26, 1940 in Sioux City, the daughter of Benjamin A Newsom Jr. and Alfreda M. Wynn. She attended Sioux City schools and graduated from Central High School with the class of 1958.

She was united in marriage with Gerald L. Fox on December 18, 1960 in Fairbury, Nebraska. She worked at Zenith Corporation from 1970-1978, and most recently had been employed for 18 years at Harmony Lanes until her illness forced her retirement in 2000.

Joyce is survived by her three sons: Ricky of Sioux City, Rodney and his wife Jane of Council Bluffs and Randy and his wife Lori of Council Bluffs along with one brother Alfred Newsom of Sioux City one grandson, three granddaughters, and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Chuck.
