Joseph J. “Joe” Brown, 51 of Sioux City, died Monday, January 11, 2021 at a Sioux City hospital. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Joe was born on October 16, 1969 in Sioux City, the son of Phillip and Linda (Dailey) Brown. Joe worked at many business in the area doing general work over the years. Joe was a very giving person who cared for others. Joe had a unique sense of humor and a smile that brightened everyone who knew him.

Joe is survived by his significant other Edna Cook, his brother Phillip (Montana Smitherman) Brown, and his sisters, Robin (Scott) Bohlin and Carolyn Sue Gomez.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robbie Clemon.
