Joseph M. "Mick" Brewer, 76, of Sioux City, passed away April 3, 2018 in Sioux City. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at St. James United Methodist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Mick was born on October 26, 1941 in Sioux City, to Clarence and Mamie (Newton) Brewer. He attended Sioux City schools. Mick married Wilma Thorngren Rausch, and together they had four children.

Mick enjoyed fishing, cookouts, spending time with his family, and with his friends at Bob's Watering Hole. Mick worked at Siouxland Recovery, Jolly Time Popcorn, as well as other various jobs.

Survivors include his children, Michael Rausch, Suzanne (Robert) Ewers, Rebecca Brewer and her fiance Alfredo Delossantos, and Jennifer (Eduardo) Martinez; significant other, Carol McCauley; six other children, Virgil Rausch, Donald Wold, Annette (Tom) Mast, Tammy (Randy) Gray, Brandi McCauley and fiance Chris Price, and Kimmy McCauley; brothers, Clarence Jr and James (Cindy) Brewer; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews

Mick was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Carol Lee; brothers, Lester and William; and sisters, Helen Robinson, Roberta Lunsford, Mary Merritt, and Leona Ferdig.
