Jonas Antoine Rouillard, 34 of Sioux City, died Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in Sioux City.
Wake Services will be held at 4:00pm Thursday, November 5, 2015 until 11:00am Saturday, November 7,2015 Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Four Directions Community Center in Sioux City, Daniel Bearshield and Russell Torrez will be officiating. Burial will be at the Congressional Cemetery in Santee, Nebraska.
Jonas was born on July 2, 1981 in Sioux City, the son of Javier Hernandez and Rhonda Rouillard. He attended school in Sioux City. Jonas worked for the Housing Authority in Santee and was a Firefighter with the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs. Jonas also worked construction, building grain bins. He most recently worked at the Sioux City Brick Company, and was self employed.
Jonas enjoyed music, playing pool and most importantly, being with his family. He loved to laugh and had a sense of humor that could make anyone laugh.
Jonas is survived by his father, Javier Hernandez of California; his mother, Rhonda Rouillard of Sioux City; his wife Twila (Whipple)Rouillard, his sons, Jonas Jr. of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Julyius of Santee, Nebraska; his daughters, Mataya of Sioux Falls, Kimi of Santee, Forever of Santee and Monnai of Sioux City; his brothers, Tavis and Eddie, both of Sioux City; and his sisters, Adasa, Racheal, Mercedes and Yasmeen, all of Sioux City, Rhonda of Minnesota, his very special companion Falon Torrez and her children Kaydins, Azzareya, Malikai, and Sylis.
He was preceded in death by his Great Grandmother Ada, Grandpa Eddie, nephews DaMarcous, Cetan, uncle his uncle Kenny Red Owl, two Aunts Sheila Ann and Birdie.
