John Evan Sutherland, born November 5 ^th , 1943, of Sioux City Iowa residing in St. Joseph Missouri passed away Thursday December 5 ^th , 2019.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Friday, December 13, 2019 at the Holy Trinity Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are under the direction Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

John is survived by his wife Catherine of 57 year, daughter, Dawn (Tom) Villone, son, John (Cathy) Sutherland, 3 grandchildren, Nicholas, Zoe, and Gage, brother, Gary and sister, Ann.

He was proceed in death by his parents,  one son, Eric and a brother, Wayne.
