John E. Pauley, 70 of Sioux City, Iowa passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at his home, surrounded by his family. No Services will be held at this time.

John was born November 12, 1953 in Mapleton, Iowa the son of Everett and Ardith (Davis) Pauley. He grew up in the Onawa and Soldier, Iowa area, and went to East Monona High School. John enlisted into the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge in 1973. When he returned home John settled in Sioux City, Iowa.

His hobbies included playing darts, pool, and driving around just to see what was going on. John love to draw, and was an amazing artist.

John is survived by his significant other, Renee Baker, brother, Phillip (Vicki) Allen, two sisters, Alyce (Jerry) Miller, Lynne Pauley, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and two sisters.
