Joe Arthur Foster, 88, of Sioux City, IA passed away February 26, 2024, at a local nursing home.  Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00pm ~ 3:00pm Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Joe was born on June 24, 1935, in Illinois to Leslie and Carrie (Bridwell) Foster. Joe married Carole Aker in February of 1953. Together they made their home here in town.

Joe owned and operated Foster Excavating until his retirement.  He enjoyed traveling to Arizona in the winters.

Those left to honor his memory include three children: Tim Foster, Rick (Micki)Foster and Dawn Dailey, all of Sioux City; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a great-grandchild; wife, Carole; and a sister, Billie June Chicoine.
