Joanne V. Denney, 90, of Sioux City, IA, passed away February 6, 2024.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 10th at 11AM with a visitation 1 hour prior at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Joanne was born on March 10, 1933, in Sioux City, IA to Robert and Edith (Horton) Peery.  She graduated from Central High School and was united in marriage to Harry Denney on June 7,1952.  Joanne enjoyed sewing, fishing, playing Bingo (all the time) and her dogs.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: Loretta (Dennis) Osterholt, Michael (June) Denney, Patricia Ashworth, and Harry “Willie” (Patty) Denney; 13 grandchildren: Christopher, Timothy, James, Jessie, Candi, Michael Shane, Destiny, Kayla, Cathy Jo, Ashley, Amber, Ally and Derek; and several great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Cynthia; and brother, Gene Peery
