Joann P. Renfro, 86 of Sioux City, died Tuesday, May 22, 2018 in Sioux City. Services will be 10 am Tuesday, May 29 ^th at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 406 12th Street, Sioux City.

Joann was born on July 17, 1931 in Sioux City, the daughter of Rollie and Catherine Friend. She graduated from East High School.  On January 22, 1970 Joann was united in marriage to Wayne Renfro.

Joann was a member of the St. Thomas Episcopal Church. She was a bookkeeper and child care provider. Joann liked needlepoint, and caring for her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (David) Pope and a step-daughter, Susie (Jim) Clinton, 5 grandchildren, Aidan, Sydney, Jacob, Luke and Alison, 1 great-grandson Gavin, her brother, Arnold (Phyllis) Friend, and many nieces and nephews.

Joann is preceded in death by her parents, husband Wayne, sister Carol, and brother Bill.
