Joan Lynette Gagnon, 66 of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024, at her residence.

Funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. The family would like to thank Dr. Tran and all of the hospice staff for the excellent services provided, and a special thank you to Chelsey and Easton for providing all the comforts of home to GMA and the rest of our family.

Joan was born on August 7, 1957, in Norfolk, NE to Lyle and Elaine (Summers) Davis.  She graduated from South Sioux City High School and married Craig Bartolozzi in 1974.

She later married Harold Gagnon in 2008.  Joan worked at Arby’s in the Tera Center for many years and later as a bartender at The Icky Nickel.  She enjoyed playing darts, pool, riding motorcycles and spending time with family and friends.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughters: Jennifer (Dan) Mace, and Jessica (Jeff) Loebsack; brothers: Mike (Sue) Davis, Bruce (Bridgett) Davis; sister, Lois (Alan) Boyd; 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lyle and Elaine Davis; her husband Harold; daughter, Julie Bartolozzi; two brothers, Lyle R. Davis and Gary A. Davis and one sister, Phyllis J. Arsenault.
