Joan Dale Kelly, formerly Keating, 83, of Sioux City passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015, at her Sunrise Manor residence at The Pointe in Sioux City.

Abiding by her wishes, the body will be cremated and private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Graveside service will be held at Calvery Cemetery on July 1, 2015.

Joan’s legacy lives on in her three sons, Daniel (Jamie Elmore) of Houston, Texas, Patrick (Christine) of Lakeside, Calif., Timothy (Lynne) of West Point, N.Y.; and daughter Martha Kelly Bates (Ben Bates) of Libertyville, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Baylee, Katie, Junior, Maggie, Betsey, Madison and Jake; sister-in-laws Sr. Mary Paul Kelly, SB of Bensalem, Pa., and Virginia Keating of Sioux City; many nieces and nephews; and a “big-boned” cat, Boji Boy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; brother; two sons; and beloved husband, Timothy F. Kelly V.

Joan’s joy-filled life was one to celebrate. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
