Obituary

Jimmie W. (James) Albright, 66 of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 at his residence, surrounded by the love of his family.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10:30 am Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 pm Tuesday at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave., with the family present 6-8 pm and a Vigil Service at 7 pm.

Jim was born July 25, 1949 in Sioux City, Iowa the son of William and Martha (Siekaniec) Albright. He was a Eagle Scout when he was little. James worked as a luger, then as time passed he became a meat cutter for IBP, Swift, Armar and Needhams. He was a Union Member while he was working.

James enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, smoking meat, and Polish cooking. Jim was a member of St. Francis Church, St. Patrick's Church in Akron, and currently a member at Immaculate Conception.

Jim was a well known for being caring, loving and generous soul with his family and friends. He was proud of his family and children and worked very hard to make sure they were loved, cared for, and treated with royalty.

He is survived by his wife Kathy of Sioux City, two sons; Ron (Ella) Woods of Alchester, SD, Skeet Aldrich of Forney, TX, three daughters; Glenda Naveja of Sioux City, Brenda Stone of Tyler, TX, Kathleen (Casey) Aldrich of Fayetteville, NC, two brothers; Tony (Julie) , Peter (Tricia) Albright both of Sioux City, one sister Carmelita (Carl) Stoltze of Missouri, 26 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.

James is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Steven Albright, and one grandson Timothy Sevey.
