Jessica A. Powers, 44 of Sioux City, died Saturday, February 12, 2022 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2-4 pm Saturday, February 19 ^th at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Jessica Ann Powers was born on December 6, 1977 in Sioux City, the daughter of Ronald and Denise (Colt) Powers. She graduated in 1997 from Jefferson High School. She worked at Gateway Computers until 2002 then she worked at Interbake Foods for 15 years.

Jessie loved animals; her fur babies brought her a lot of joy. Jessie enjoyed spending time with family especially her sisters, playing Nintendo, watching scary movies and crafting with Valerie & Shelby. One of her biggest joys was taking Gertie for rides and to play in Riverside park.

Jessica is survived by her life partner, Valerie Ehlers & her daughter Shelby, father, Ronald Powers, two sisters, Amie (Jason Quiring) Powers and Pamela (Shantel Hernandez) Powers and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Denise Powers and her beloved bulldog, Gertrude “Gertie”.
