Jessica Nicole Jacobsen-Wendel, 43, of Scottsdale, AZ, formerly of Westfield, IA, passed away August 30, 2025, in Arizona.  A private graveside service at Memorial Park is pending. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Jessica was born on October 3, 1981, in Sioux City, Iowa to Gerald and Leslie (Cochran) Jacobsen. She graduated from Akron-Westfield High School in 2000. In high school, she was very athletic and played softball, ran track, and showed horses. Jessica then attended massage school where she earned her degree in massage therapy. Jessica moved to Omaha, Nebraska and then later to Arizona. While in Arizona she was working as a massage therapist.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: Jersey Arnold and Kamryn Ellison; mom and stepdad, Leslie (James) Weber; siblings: Casey Jacobsen, Greg McInnis, Theresa Weber and Andrea Weber; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her dad, Gerald and her grandparents.
