Jessica Colleen Chase, 31, of Sioux City, Iowa, passed away on November 3, 2026, at a local hospital, surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation 1 hour prior at RiverzEdge Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.

Jessica was born on May 6, 1995, to Jerry and Lola Slater. Jessica enjoyed participating in Special Olympics, camping, and crafting, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She had a special way of bringing smiles to those around her, and her contagious laugh and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The memories shared with Jessica will forever be cherished by her family and friends. Jessica was employed at the Howard Johnson Hotel downtown and later at the Ramada Inn until the company was sold.

Jessica is survived by her parents, Jerry and Lola, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Burton and Colleen Chase and Earl and Marvella Slater.
