Jerry C. Mohr, 65, of Sioux City, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at his residence. Services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. A visitation will be held 6-8 pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Jerry was born on March 28, 1951 in Vermillion, SD, the son of Carl and Elaine (Dose) Mohr. He grew up in Vermillion and moved to Sioux City in 1964. Jerry married June Mapes on April 12, 1968 in Salix, IA.

Jerry enjoyed gambling, bingo, fishing, road trips with his family, going to coffee with his friends on the weekend, spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids, and his special dog companion, Puppy.

Survivors include his wife, June; children, Tammy (Jim Dailey) Mohr, Carl Mohr, and Lee (Missy) Mohr, all of Sioux City; sisters, Cheryl (Donnie) Hinzman of Sioux City and Sandy (Dan) Runyan of Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Samantha Mohr, Petyon Mohr, Katie and Steven Dailey; great grandchildren, Nayeli Whitethunder, Hazel Mohr, Carter and Ava Dailey; several nieces and nephews; all of his friends at Short Staff; and his best friends, Dick Warden and Terry Booe.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Diane; and brothers, Larry, Jon "Tylo", Roger, and Steven.
