Obituary

Jeromy John Angerman, 47, of Sioux City, IA, passed away June 27, 2024.  A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 3rd at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation starting at 10:00am at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City.  There will also be a time during the service for friends and family to share memories. The family would like you to wear purple or a music shirt to honor Jeromy.

Jeromy was born August 10, 1976, in Sioux City, Iowa the son of Patrick Angerman and Karen Custer.  He graduated from Douglas County High School in Castle Rock, Colorado, where he became a state wrestler and was on the varsity team for both wrestling and football.  He continued his education at WYO Tech. in Laramie, Wyoming. Jeromy studied to become a Master Mechanic and worked at Tires Tires Tires for many years.

Jeromy enjoyed doing magic tricks with a deck of cards and was a very lucky cribbage player. Jeromy loved listening to music and going to concerts.  If there was a mosh pit around, you can guarantee he started it.  He also enjoyed being outside watching nature with a campfire.  The biggest love in life was being with his children, and spending time with his family. He was loved by many and will be missed by many.

Left behind to cherish the memories of Jeromy are his parents, Patrick and Jerri Angerman of Castle Rock, Colorado and Karen Custer of Sioux City, Iowa. Jeromy leaves behind sons, Gavyn and Drake Angerman, and stepson Zachary Maguire, two daughters, Sierrah and Ahmara Angerman, ex-wife and friend, Kellie Angerman (Thiessen), and granddaughter Scarlett Dunn, all of Omaha, Nebraska.  His memories will also be carried on by his four sisters that he loved very much, Lindsey Angerman and family, Samantha Godinez (Angerman) and family, Britteny Cabrera (Angerman) and family, of Castle Rock, Colorado and Sudipta Custer of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Jeromy loved his very large extended family consisting of many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was very proud to be an Angerman and loved being surrounded by his family and friends.

Jeromy is welcomed home by his paternal grandparents, Carl and Dorathy Angerman and maternal grandparents, Silas Hagler III and Donna Cook.
