Jeremy L. Gomez, 45 of Sioux City, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at a local hospital.
Funeral Service will be held 10:30am Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Avenue, with Father Mike Erpelding officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Sioux City following the service. Visitation started Thursday evening April 23, at the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 524 Center Street, and will continue until 9:00am Saturday.
Jeremy was born January 7, 1970 the son of Gary and Linda (Campbell) Gomez. Jeremy attended North High School graduating in 1989. He then went on to WITT to study in the Electrical Program. Jeremy then started his electrical apprenticeship. Jeremy earned his journeyman wireman license. He worked with his father at Dakota Electric, and was currently working at the Home Depot.
Jeremy was a family man and loved spending time with his three children Kilee, Ty, and Emma, going on walks, taken them to the movies, playing football, picking up stray dogs, and he loved going to Disneyland for vacation with his children, who were the most important thoughts in his life.
He was a member of the Native American Community, and the ABC, (American Builders Contractor Association).
Jeremy is survived by his father Gary, one son Ty, two daughters Kilee, Emma, one brother Brandon, one sister Yolonda Gomez, one niece Autumn and two nephews Austin Gomez, Aiden Chop all of Sioux City, Iowa
He is preceded in death by his mother Linda.
